NEW YEAR, NEW SHOWS

    * The Cape

      o Officer Vince Faraday was a good cop trying to clean up a corrupt city. Framed for murder and left for dead, he suddenly found himself separated from his wife and son and forced into hiding. Now, inspired by his son’s favorite comic book hero, he’s taking the law into his own hands, and playing a deadly game of chess with the powerful kingpin who framed him. With the hope of one day reuniting with his family, The Cape is sending a loud message to all criminals… run. (SUMMER GLAU…’NUFF SAID)
    * Being Human (Syfy)
    o Being Human is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates: A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.

    * SHAMELESS (Showtime) – William H. Macey

      o Chicagoan Frank Gallagher is the proud single dad of six smart, industrious, independent kids, who without him would be… perhaps better off. When Frank’s not at the bar spending what little money they have, he’s passed out on the floor. But the kids have found ways to grow up in spite of him. They may not be like any family you know, but they make no apologies for being exactly who they are.

    * The Chicago Code (FOX Mon. Feb 11)

      o The city of Chicago is a paradox that serves as the setting for Shawn Ryan’s new drama, THE CHICAGO CODE. In this series, the audience is the passenger, taking an unpredictable ride through the streets of Chicago and navigating crime and corruption with the most respected – and notorious – cops in the city.
    * Return of V on ABC Tues. Jan 4th
    * Body of Proof (ABC) March

      o Dr. Megan Fox (Dana Delaney)was one of the country’s leading neurosurgeons, but a horrible car accident forever changes the course of her life when she can no longer perform surgery.
